Had the pleasure of working on this beautiful old car for a repeat client of mine. The car is a garage queen of sorts and isn't driven often but don't let that fool you, there was A LOT of correction needing done. The finish was rough and needed claybarred twice to get it feeling good enough to begin polishing. There was a lot of hard water spots, swirling, marring, scratches, etc. This was a complete correction job, inside, engine and outside. The finished product was stunningly gorgeous and the owner was completely beside himself. He couldnt believe it was the same car which made me feel good.
Products used:
Makita 9227C
Porter Cable 7424
Menzerna SIP/106FF
Lusso Oro
Stoner's Invisible Glass
Lake Country Yellow, orange, white, black, blue pads
303 Aerospace Protectant
Chemical Guys Citrus Car-Wash
Clay Magic Clay Bar
DD MF towels
etc.
As you can see, the finish of the car beforehand was in dire need of some work.
The engine was in horrible shape.
The lower valance on the car (a different color from the body) was VERY faded, as per the photos:
And the wheels were severely pitted, dirty, etc. The wheels took me over an hour to clean by themselves. :emo:
The wheel after:
Engine bay after:
After photos!!!!!
No more swirls!!!!!
The interior:
Thanks for looking!!!!
