Prime Strong in conjunction with pads...

Hey guys, in my never ending OCD I came up with a scenario I wanted to run by everyone. Say I'm doing a car, which has mild to moderate swirling.

If I'm using a polishing pal, would I switch between yellow/orange pads for problematic areas and then back to white pads for the minimally marred areas? Or is the cut of Prime Strong so minimal that switching to Yellow/Orange pads won't make a difference? :nixweiss

My experience with Prime Strong is that it does not have sufficient abrassives to tackle "mild to moderate swirling". I would recommend another step prior to Prime Strong for that.

It employs both more acrylic polymers for better durability and protection and also an incrementally stronger polishing agent to address more paint imperfections. This formula takes Prime a step toward a finishing polish and can eliminate the need for a separate finishing polish in many instances. Prime: Strong can address light marring and swirling more effectively than Prime

Thats from the site... anyone else have similar experiences?
