Prima products

COME AT ME BRO
Any of you jokers tried/used Prima products? I've been reading some stuff about them around the web, and for the past couple of weeks have been interested in possibly trying out Banana Gloss. Opinions, smart-alec comments, etc?

Also, where are you getting it if you've used it?

Riddle me this....:D

Read about the products with some interest, but the curiosity was never piqued enough to actually make a purchase. I don't recall if the guy was a sponsor of another forum or not, but Nick at Detailer's Paradise was the source of most of the information I read. Don't know anything else about him, his business or the Prima product lineup. I'm sure you'll keep us all informed should you venture out. I do seem to recall several people really liked the Prima QD...:notme:

Holy deja vu! I was just on the phone with Nick yesterday.

Nick and Heather are good people and I have tried Prima last year and all the products worked great. Definately worth a try.

who are you kidding .. you don't order products on-line and pay shipping :lol2::rofl:lmfao:lol2::rofl:lmfao

I was thinking about driving :wow: to wherever it was that had it and pick it up so I could save on gas. :D Or possibly get them to send it USPS in a beat up box marked fragile. :lol2: :notme:

Seriously though, looking at detailing products always makes one wish list item turn into a whole shopping list.

I use Prima exclusively for all my paint polishing restores. For those of you that know me, my work speaks for itself. The Prima products are easy to use and look great. I use one polish, Swirl, for 95% of my work. I finish with Amigo on all dark/black colors before LSP which is either Epic (Synthetic Polymer) or Banana Gloss (Carnauba) or both.

Here are some recent examples.

Finished out to this (I have some more direct sunlight shots, but they have my company building in them and I don't want to violate any rules)

Customer polished his hood with a 7424XP and Adam's and wasn't satisfied. I did a test spot using Prima Swirl and a 7424 PC and you can see the improvement from the test spot.

IT has been several years but I liked the Prima line. It worked well on my old Black truck. I liked talking with Nick. He was always helpful. The year that I visited Norah, prior to driving to work in /Alaska, I had considered stopping and saying hello to Nick at the store. It was grreat meeting Norah. I am sure it would have been great to see Nick as well only I would not have eaten Norah's meatloaf. HMMMMMMMMMM gooood!!

Well the store is closed. Detailers Paradise folded up and became just Prima Car Care now. As for the Prima line, a lot has changed in the last few years, like was previously mentioned, Banana Gloss, an awesome flash curing liquid carnauba wax.

Nick and Heather are great people. I speak to them often. They are my friends but treat me more like family.

Prima Line is GREAT. Swirl reminds me of Menz SIP. I liked Hydro, Amigo, Swirl and Finish. I really want to try Nero and Epic. I still use Amigo and Finish often. Amigo is a great cleaner/glaze and Finish is a great pure polish I use it for cleaning paint and windows. I like Hydro a lot but I switched to Opt Car Wax because of price, 1 gal of Hydro is $70 and OCW is $40. I use Swirl sometimes but since M105 and M205 were introduced I find myself using that combo a lot.
Richard (Octaneguy) is a great guy and his details are among the best I have ever seen

Good to hear from you, Sal! Where've you been?
