Prima Lineup....

Prima Epic and Hydro are great, leaves a very slick surface. Mystic also leaves a nice finish but its low sudsing if that important to you. Haven't tried their QD or polishes yet but I plan to sometime soon. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Epic is superb ,Amigo is one of my favorites,The new Banana Gloss is a must have.Hydro, swirl ,nero and nourish are awesome as I have the whole line almost and am very happy with them all . Slick is a really top notch QD and it lives up to its name and smells great.

They are local to me and I have their entire line up and a beta product or two. They have a lot of nice products, in fact they are all nice. I use hydro after every wash, the mystique is nice but as 2KLS1 said it's low sudsing. Amigo is nice for dark cars, slick is a great QD and lives up to it's name, clairity is among the best glass cleaners I have ever used. Their new banana gloss is amazing, I used the beta version and it's amazingly easy to use. Just for grins I put it on the hood of my jeep and let it sit in the summer sun for an hour and it wiped right off. and the list goes on. Even if they weren't local to me I would find myself a repeat customer.

Sounds like I'm going to have to try them out. Not one bad thing so far. I've found out that they were developed for the DA aka PC and they work in the sun too.

Sudsing is not a big deal to me. It's not an indicator to me that it's cleaning any better. Usually if it's not sudsing, it's cleaning better.

Does Prima offer their products in gallons sizes?

Swirl is very similar to SIP in terms of cut and the level of finish.

Banana Gloss is a godsend as it is a great topper in the sun and its super easy to use. I usually wax after each wash with Banana Gloss and it holds up pretty well also--2 months on a DD thats outside 24/7

I have not tried anything else but I do have Finish (not opened yet).

richard aka octaneguy uses the prima line, and his work speaks for itself...

Yep. Richard just detailed my 08 Black Corvette C6 using Prima "Swirl", "Amigo", then "Epic". Really corrected my paint and gave it a nice shiny, deep look. I bought "banana gloss" wax that I will be trying tomorrow. The Prima line is really good!

They do sell gallon sizes. I need to pick up a gallon of hydro this spring.

Man I'm hearing so many good things about this line! Pretty expensive too.

Richard aka Octaneguy told me all he rinses his pads out with is water alone. Crazy!

Amigo is also the only glaze I've ever heard of that you can use a wax/sealant over and get good durability.

One thing i will say about Richard aka Octaneguy is he knows how to treat his customers. My wife ordered half of my Christmas wishlist from his new website ( Prima products, One Grip combo, and Show car detailing's how to DVD) , and he threw in some very nice freebies, call him, he's a really cool guy that stands by his word. :bounce

Don't want to start another tread on this so I will use this one (I hope that jefftheman will not mind).

How would you guys rate the cut:

1. Cut (Menz PG)

2. Swirl (Mez SIP)

3. Finish (Mez 106ff/fa)

4. Amigo (85rd - i'm aware that Amigo has filler sas it is a glaze but it is a polish also right?)

is that more or less correct?

Also I read somewhere that you don't need to apply (around 5 lb vs. megs recomends 15-20 lb) pressure to DA (if I'm correct they are designed to work with DA) when using Prima polishes?

How user friendly are they (lets say that I just got a G110 and now I'm looking for polishes) Thanks
