I dont want to get into charging for detailing yet but, as i gain more experience , probaly next year i am going to be doing it for $.

Right now i am trying to price the work i am going to do, it is probaly going to be mostly done with a PC, but Definitly a rotary later on as I learn.

Imagine this work with a PC

Wash the car wheel wells, shine tires and clean wheels

Polish with ssr2.5 and 1.0

PB Ex-P sealant

S100

PB wheel sealant.

at first i thought $210 was good And $165 if I only did 1 polish, and claying would of course be more, Do you guys strongly reccomend a Rotary for customer work to save time?

What do you think is a fair price?

Wheel Sealant: $8.00 per wheel

That seems like a lot for a pretty simple job.

drg - I'd suggest taking a lot of time to learn with the PC before getting a rotary. If you do use a rotary on customer cars, you may want to think about insurance. Rotary burns can happen to anyone. You don't want to be stuck paying for a panel to be repainted.

I stick with the PC on customer vehicles. I have brought out the rotary a few times, but even those times I just use it on the horizontal panels. I find those panels to be easier to use a rotary on, and also they seem to have the worst swirls anyway. The vertical panels are USUALLY less swirled than the horizontal.

I thought it was low. LOL I take the wheels off, unless the person to take them off before me torqued them on so tight I can't get them off, and I clean the inside and outside and they get two coats of sealant. Like I said, this is my side gig so if they don't want to pay it they don't have too.

You have to wait before topping EX with S100.

If you are going to be doing this for money, use the Optimum twins, no dust, no second wash.

Also i would use the OCW, spray, wipe, done.

You can even use the OCW to remove the residue from the polish-cant beat that really.
