pricing guide on engine detailing

i'm going to do some engine detailing and i cant find a ballpark price around my area. most customers wants just the engine bay degreased and dressed. No hoodliner cleaning involved. whats a good starting price to offer? thanks!
 
:cool: Do you have Insurance? Engine Cleaning IMO is The Easiest Money to be made If someone wants Engine only done I charge more ($45-$55) And for goodness sakes do the bottom side of Hood.....Total Time 12-25 minutes, Thats $90-$110 pr. hr. Not Bad.
I (My Biz) have detailed literally thousands of Engines over the course of 30 years. And I would say I have only had a problem maybe a Dozen times...never anything I wouldv'e filed a Claim on (Insurance) Good Luck......P.S. Is this a firm price I quoted ?....No But it is the one I Quote...most people say ok....some wanna Deal.....I don't mind Knocking 15% off...Other than that I will just tell them to kick bricks....Explain Insurance is not Free
