prices for polishing

so, i just recently did the full zaino treatment on my car (claybar, multiple coats of sealant, z6, z7, z16). Shiny as heck, looks beautiful, protects great....

but i do have swirls, especially on my hood. I prolly won't be able to afford to really work on that for a while, but i was just wondering how much $$$ i'd be looking at to get a PC or something else that would do the job, and the different polishes, so i can do it 'right'.

Thanks,

Jason

Since you have an MSP, I'd do it for $20 for you. :D

But unfortunately you're in TX. :( I'd probably charge ~$50 for average swirls, and then extra for sealant/wax.

hahaha

okay.

What if i decided to go at it myself?? Is it worth it if i'm not gonna be detailing for other people?? (except maybe my parents)

It's absolutely worth it to do it yourself. Even if you will only use it for your car and your parents' cars, remember that you WILL get more swirls over time. If you paid someone to remove them, you'd have to pay someone to do it again. If you buy a PC, you can do it yourself each time for no added cost (unless you run out of polishes).

For the PC, pads, backing plate(s), and polishes you're looking at about $200.

How far are you from T3ase? He's in Texas, and he'd probably be happy to let you use his PC and products. You could have a mini MSP get-together.

aaaaah, awesome, i'm real close, i've actually been to his house although i've never met him in person, lol. long story. Great idea though man, thanks!!
