If you're looking for something to "pre-soak" the cars before you wash them, I've used QEW or ONR in a spray bottle, mixed with water. This softens the dirt for washing.
If the cars you're doing are that bad, you might want to consider a foam gun, to soften, loosen and lift the ground in dirt from the paint surface prior to washing.

Hey luster.I'd like to use a gun on some of um:devil:Hehe.
A lot of the first timers I do ,it may have been a year or more since the last time it was washed.Oh I meant to say ,the last time they drove it through a car wash.
Some of these are so eat up with grime and road crap on the bottom 10 inches of the car ,its disgusting.
I have used the meguiars body solvent.It does gud on grime and fair gud on light tar,but most of the first timers I do , the tar is usuall so bad that the solvent won't do anything.
I was doing my aunts truck friday for the first time.Its gray and me being color blind ,I didn't hardly see any tar or grime on the truck.Till I wet it.I saw spots of tar for days,and some junk I got no clue what was.The solvent did well for the grime ,but very poor on the tar.So I had to get out the tarminator,which the truck ate ,half a can of that.
Anyway ,just being nosy.
Just had one of my customers call me and told me they needed their toyota suv done again .I thought its been a month.Gonna be purty easy,till he said they just got back from florida,and it is eat up with the LUV BUG.Dang I almost had a easy vehicle to do.

Tarminator will remove a lot of stuff other than just tar. I've used it on bug juice, tar, road paint, door-ding-paint-transfer, shopping cart marks, etc.
It's pretty strong stuff though. Once you get the tar off, be sure to wash off all the Tarminator fairly quickly!

When I get a very nasty car to do, I get my form gun out and put some Eimann Fabrik Auto Spa Gentle Shampoo & Conditioner to soak the car before washing it.

+1 Angelo. EF was the first non-OTC car wash I bought. Good product, especially in a gun.
