I had a customer just drop off a BMW 5 series. Looks like it has seen brillo, scotchbrite, and stiff bristle brushes most of its life!

heres a video, first test spot shows Megs microfiber pad + d300/m105, second test spot on the left side is surbuf + m105/d300. There are some deeper pieces still left on both sides, but im not touching this car with any paper.

Thanks guys for the responses, its going to be a fun day :D

Im hoping to not kill another DA on another BMW. One of bryans Griots gave up the ghost on a recent m5 while i was using it :nervous:

When one is willing to learn, it is amazing what one can accomplish.

Thanks for reminding me to send that one back in.

Impressive results! :)

My 3rd Griots DA is starting to get play in the bearing now and is spitting out some grease. I think I'm picking up a G110v2 next time around.

Is it bad that some of this stuff is not coming out even with my dewalt + Megs Maroon wool + m105 at 1800 rpm? LOL

Still is going to have some drastic rids, but it is drastically better as well.
