Preventing Sickness

You know that feeling that you are getting sick? How can I provent this. I haven't gotten sick for a long time. I drink lots of tea and orange juice all the time. I was thinking that maybe it was because I was conditioning for soccer today in the cold? Or maybe it was the food that I ate after that, because it seems the feeling came right after this. Anyways, what can I do? I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I dont want to get sick because I have soccer games and finals coming up!
 
Nausea or general malaise like you are about to get a cold? If you're going to get sick, you'll probably get sick. At the least try to get some more rest than usual and dress appropriately for cold weather.
 
If you're getting a cold, give Zicam a try. Everyone I know swears by it. You need to start it as soon as you start to feel symptoms. It's available over the counter.
 
if there was a sure-fire way to prevent getting sick...then we will all be RICH!!! :)



pretty much the standard stuff...eat healthy, exercise, and sleep. getting enough sleep is probably the most important. i'm not big into gimmicks like taking huge doses of VitC, etc...
