What a mess! I had to treat the entire truck like a scratch. Apparently they got a really good deal on it. It used to be a forest rangers truck:help: The change was great, very well worth the effort!

What an amazing transformation!!!!! I only have experience with my PC, so why the white pad with the compound? I guess it really doesn't matter since the finished product looks excellent. What part of Maine are you from?

Some people like to go with a more aggressive product instead of a more aggressive pad.

Off topic, but you beat me to that TT3000 on performancetrucks.net.......jerk.

cj99si - Great work! That thing looks new again!

Excellent results!!!!

Did you consider using the OHC with an orange pad to try and reduce your working time? Then maybe the white with OP?

Hmmmm, less marring that way?

Yah about the converter, sorry:rolleyes: ..........NOT!!!!!!:grinno:

It took 7 hrs for me to do. I dont like to use aggressive pads They tend to produce more holograms for me. The OHC seems to work itself down pretty good with the whitepad, there was almost no holograms after the OHC

Coldz71 im from Windham, are you in Maine?

Thanks for all the compliments everyone!

Yup! I am up in Milo. Thats about 35 miles north of Bangor. Do you have a business or do you do this as a side job?

I can see how using a less aggressive pad could work well. Can you get the same results with a PC? Or do you need the heat of the rotary to break down the polish?

I do it as a business. Yes you can work the polishes the same way with a PC to cut down on marring. You wont have the same correcting ability though(im sure you know that though) I have some family up in lincoln and their actually down here now at my folks.
