Pressure washing removes wax?

I still use terry cloth
Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a free flowing hose to do my washing, so I use a local quick wash to do the rinse after I've done a bucket wash. Ideally I want to use the "spot-free" setting (even though I think it's just really weak flowing spray), but it takes me at least 2 minutes to rinse the front end.

It seems like using a pressure washer from a fair distance wouldn't be too harsh on the finish? But at the same time I've felt the stream on full blast and its pretty rough... Any thoughts guys?

You should be okay as long as you use the wide-angle setting and aren't obviously abusive to the paint. If you use a 2500 psi stream that's 1/4 inch thick 1/2 inch from the paint you're going to do some damage. Common sense should be all that you need here.
