pressure washer

Keep it clean!
I got a question for you... If I hook up my electric pressure washer to a 90 gallon water tank, will there be enough pressure without a pump to work? the tank will mounted in the back of my van and I'm hoping gravity feed and the electric motor of the washer will do the trick

I'd have to say no but I would give it a try and see, the one that I have I hook up to the house and I do beleive that it needs the pressure......Give it a shot!

HI pcjaz.
Your washer will work on gravity alone no pumps req .
I have 90 gallons and carry this daily and this method has worked well for me for years.
If you need any more mobile info let me know.

really depends on what you want to wash and How clean you want it before you detail it. My pressurewasher is a 700 gallon 3800psi @5.5 gallons per minute.@195 degrees hot water or can turn off heater and just cold water wash with a 50 gallon soap tank. So I would say no pump and just gravity feed you are wasting more time and water than going and investing $500 bucks for a good pump maybe cheaper if used.

thanks guys for the input. I' ll probably try the gravity thing first (cheaper.... you know!) and if it doesn't do the trick, time to shell out the cash. I'll let you know how it goes.

Get a larger supply hose and then the fittings to fit your pressure washer right before it enters the pump. It will help assure that the gravity will supply enough water.
