Hey Todd,
I will be applying BI this weekend, and to prep the surface would there be any benefit to use TPnS over GEP?
Also what is the cure time for BI before exposing the vehicle to the environment?
Thanks.
You can apply BlackICE over GEP or ANY BLACKFIRE product (including TPnS). While there may be some benefit to applying it over a product, it is important to remember that BlackICE is one of the, if not the, longest lasting LSPs in the BLACKFIRE line up.
i say just prep with bfgep and see how it looks as a stand alone. if you're feeling energetic, maybe do a side by side with the bftpns (that is if the temps up there get above 32 and it stops snowing long enough.)
Looking forward to write up, very interesting wax.
Longest lasting?? I did not know that. Thats great news.
I am thinking of trying TPNS cleaned up with Poly spray, and the second half of the panel with GEP. Lets see how it holds up:rockon
wow! you got the BI quick. looking foward to your review.
Lots of Black Ice buzz and demonstrations at Detail Fest this past weekend.
The Blackfire product line just keeps getting better!
Great seeing you!
I would think TPnS would detract. I would go straight from GEP.
