I'm addicted to Shine
So I was contacted to tackle this 91 Pontiac Trans Am. Upon arrival I found this car swirled out and rough to the touch. Being that it was black well it looked better in the shade than the sun but thats what I was there for.
I got the wash all done and the claying finished. Well when I stated claying I got a surprise that I wasn't expecting…… SOFT SOFT PAINT!!!! So you will see in the photos below my speedy prep towel marred the crap out of there paint and so begins my great day.
After getting the car dried and tapped of time for a test spot. Well lets just say I am glad I had all my polishers. I tried my Flex today with my hybrid pads and about everything I tried and every combo I could not get this paint to finish down at all. After lots of trial and error I finally got a combo that worked:
Rupes and polishing pad with Sonax Perfect finish followed by M205 on a LC hydrotech pad on my GG6"
