I was contacted by this customer who recently moved from Oklahoma to the wonderful area of Pittsburgh, PA. When I had first talked with him he was very concerned about having his vehicle protected from the great rock salt that blesses our wonderful roads around here every winter. After some time speaking with him and doing a Visual Vehicle Inspection with him we had decided to go the Opti-Coat route to protect his car to the fullest extent.

Here is what was done:
Exterior:
Wheels:
- Sprayed down with Sonax FE and allowed to dwell
- Scrubed with various brushes
- Wheel Wells sprayed with APC+ 10:1 and scrubbed with Mothers wheel well brush
- Tires sprayed with Megs Non Acidic Wheel and Tire cleaner and then scrubbed with Mothers Tire brush
- The wheels were the sprayed with IXLS (these wheels were bad)
Paint:
- Washed with Megs rinse free express wash
- Dried
- IXLS sprayed to the exterior then agitated and rinsed
- Paint was then clayed with a Mild Speedy Prep Towel.
- The paint was polished with a comb of M101 and 205 on a 5" LC hybrid pad on a Flex 3401. (I originally started with Sonax PF but wasn't getting much Defect removal at all.)
- After the paint was finished I did a panel by panel wipe down with CarPro Eraser. Each panel was then Opti-Coated.
- The faces of the wheels were Opti-Coated as well.
- The trim was dressed with Wolfgang Trim Sealant
- Wheel wells dressed with Megs HD
- Tires dressed with Opti-Bond Tire gel
