Scottwax said:The Meguiar's Super Terry towels are very soft and have a decently thick nap. They hold up well too, the ones I have are two years old or so and been washed probably twice a week since I got them. I wish I could find more.

Unfortunately the only thing the Viking towel has in common with the Meg's Terry is that they are both white. The Viking terry is very "scratchy" feeling, thinner, and not near as soft as the Meg's towel.

If i understand correctly, ONR encapsulates dirt, and suspends it in the solution until you dry it off. That means all the water on your car, is dirty. So if you drag an Absorber across your paint, you're dragging dirt with it.
You can try to blot with it. Spread the Absorber on the surface, let it pick up the water, then take it off, wring it out, and move to the next section. But that seems like it would take ALOT of time, and probably wouldn't get ALL of the water anyway.
Use something soft and absorbent like a good MF drying towel.
