pre-wash microfiber question

Is there any harm in leaving APC or detergent residue in towels from pre-wash



I like to pre-soak/wash towels to prevent staining and then gather enough towels to do a full load



I soak towels / agitate in a bucket and wring out, then let air dry and store for machine washing later, sometimes many weeks later



I could rinse them, but is it necessary? I'm not sure if leaving towels this way for several days will cause any problems with the microfiber

I just leave mine in the soak solution. Might be over a month before I have enough for a load. I also do at least three rinses when I do wash, the second to last with white vinegar. Haven't ever noticed a problem except with dark blue towels that seem to bleed forever so those are done separately.

I've never had any problems and I've let MFs soak in APC and I've let APC dry on them and stay that way, both for weeks.
