Pre-VOC AIO vs "New" AIO (pics)

Out of curiosity I decided to compare my AIO purchased in November '04 with the jug that just came in yesterday. Both were purchased from Autopia Car Care. Both jugs were shaken vigorously before the samples were poured. Both samples were poured at the same time so they were exposed to the open air the same amount of time before the pics were taken.

Here's what I saw:

More pics are in my gallery.

Now, I can think of quite a few reasons these AIO samples might look different. It could be age, the old sample being stored in a mostly empty bottle for several months, routine variation in the appearance of any two batches of AIO, some combination of these things, etc.. Make of it what you will.

mmm looks like mini me pancake...lol.....j/k...thanks for the post/write up....other then looks have you had the opportunity to try it out and see if there is an improvement...if any...

Nope, I haven't tried the new stuff yet. Unless the working characteristics, durability, or cleaning ability is significantly different, I don't think I will be able to tell. They feel exactly the same between two fingers. BTW, the pre-VOC stuff is the darker sample.

was the prior AIO kept in direct sunlight for long periods of time? In my experience this effect has happened because of this.

Thanks

The older AIO was stored in the house. During use, it was always in the shade; BUT, it was used in temps above 90 degrees for a couple months. Every time I used it, the bottle sat in this heat for probably several hours. No sun, but definitely many hours of heat.

I'm really curious about the functional differences between the two versions of AIO. I'm still using up my pre-VOC AIO so I haven't been able to run any tests yet.... and actually, I'm not really sure how I would since my cars all have new paint.
