Wash 2BM Various Mitts with Citrus APC and Carwash to remove any dealer goop
Iron X the Drivers Side
Ferrex The Passenger Side
Clay the Dirty lower areas and wells
Nano Skin the rest of the paint and glass with my PC, speed 1 and ORN as Lube
Remove any water spots with Pro Polish or Spotless if the pro polish does not work.
Rewash car with Reset Shampoo
Dry with Metro Vac and Blow 4HP
Dry any drips with Uber Drying Towels
Place in Carage

Saturday afternoon
Tape up all Molding with....... (Need to get tape please post name and link)
Polish using
3" GG
6" GG
Rupes 15
Using Polish pads (I think I can avoid compound but I have not washed it yet-so we will see if I got Glazed)
Polish with Menz 203S (if this wont cut it, I will go cutting pad and then if I need more will go M100 or M205 after test)
Polish PO106FA
Finish Pad PO85rd (Will only do this step if I see more gloss after doing a test spot)
Wipe down with Eraser 2x
Apply Gloss Coat to all painted surfaces, plastic wells, Matte stripe (might get a little glossier but it will be protected) wheels and Lenses (2 good coats) I have 2 syringes to make sure I can coat everything I want.
Apply Opti Glass to all Exterior Glass and pano Roof
Apply Gyeon Trim to all exterior black trim
Apply Gyeon Tire to all tires and buff to matte finish

My goal is to take full advantage of all the technology available to coat all surfaces possible to extend the need to do what I call a tear down-rebuild detail. if I can get 2 years, of beading and protection I am happy.

Let it cure in the Carage and hopefully if its nice drive it on Sunday if I can wrestle the keys away from my son.

Anything I missed?

I just had a thought? I hope it fits in the Carage.!

Sounds like a busy weekend. I will wait and see what others say about the tape as I would like to know too. My tape tends to peel up and is a pita when some adhesive gets on the pad. I did just pick up some new stuff (can't remember what it is-orange) so I will know how that stuff is soon.

Thanks, I have 3M blue and green, not thrilled with either. Hear the nale frog tape and am open to others. I am concerned about glue on the matte stripes.

I would change a few things -

1) Two coats of Gloss-Coat. This is a must IMO. I think the product needs a second coat for maximum coverage. I have noticed a significant increase in gloss and slickness after applying a second coat.

2) Finish with Optimium Primer Polish or Hyper Polish. Anything you can do to avoid that Eraser or IPA wipe would be ideal. The Eraser product leaves behind surfactant residue that may prevent maximum bonding of Gloss-Coat.

I agree with avoiding IPA or Eraser. One dulls the paint, the other leaves a residue. I use either DP coating prep polish or DG squeaky clean prior to applying the coating. Those products were designed specifically for pre-coating application for a reason. I use a damp MF towel to remove them. Pinnacle and blackfire also have coating prep products.

No local source for either so I placed an order for both sizes of the Kamikaze tape.

Thanks Mike

Lucky for me its going to snow here tomorrow so I have put off the exterior a week or 2.

Kamakaze tape I like, also meguiars tape.stay away from painter type paint,it leaves residue.
have fun!

Sounds like too many polishing steps to me...polishing takes a long time. And you gotta watch it with the Menzerna PO106 line; I can't remember if it's the FA or the FF, but one of 'em does an incredible amount of concealing. The oils are tough to clean away and lots of stuff will "come back" as they finally dissipate. Try to distill it down a bit so you don't get overwhelmed.
