Pre Cleaners/Swirl removers

Im looking a cleaner that will get the paint ready to polish. I will be using my pc with a yellow or white pad. I was looking at these below

Meguiars Mirror Glaze #205 Ultra Finishing Polish 8 oz.
Liquid Glass Pre Cleaner ( had in past)
PoorBoys SSR 2.5 ( just cant get good results with in past)

I also have some smaples of Menzerna Intensive Polish as well as the Power Gloss. They been sitting in a container for 3-4 years.
 
Try the Menzerna and see how you like them. They're not really the flavor-of-the-month anymore, but they are still good polishes.

What exactly do you mean by cleaner? A swirl removing polish? A chemical cleaning polish? An all-in-one product?
 
You can use Meguiars M105 and 8207 and go straight to wax if you like.

It cuts quick and you don't need a lot of product.
 
pretty much an all in one product to take out swirls and some polish.

calogero- I heard the 105 would leave hazing. Thats why I said 205. I have not had good luck with meguairs products. I dont think they are very forgiving.
 
the new version of M105 is formulated for use with the DA.

It shouldn't leave hazing.

What pad are you using with it?

You can try M205 because that produces some nice results too.
 
I have lc pads white/ orange( really stiff) and black. I have a 4" spot buffer backplate with a yellow and white pad. I have some Pwc blue and I love it i just dont think it will get out the swirls. I used s100 cleaner this weekend and that got some out but not all.
 
I will take anything mentioned in this thread and make the paint look like a mirror.

It is all in the technique not the polish any of those mentioned work good.
Since you already have Menzerna why buy polish use what you have.
 
JUST DONT USE THE YELLOW PAD!!!!!!!!! You will be correcting what it left behind first. Just my opinion though, but Id NOt use yellow pad. White and Black pads should be enough.

I have never used one but I get the feeling if you think you need a yellow pad you probably are not using the least aggressive method (change polish, machine).
 
Yellow pad is a no no.. gotta work your way up and see what the least aggressive approach will take care of yer problem.. as the other 5 fine people have said.. :)
