Poxy on trim?

Anyone try it on larger plastic trim with success? Mine turned out streaky on the bumper covers of my MDX so I figured I may have applied too much or something. I prep'ed the surface with a brush and megs super degreaser

I find it darkens the trim quite a bit and it can be a little uneven in its "darkening", I normally go over the trim with a qd/mf to make get it to look consistent.

About 4-5 pea sized drops. I did front and rear bumper covers along with engine bay. The engine bay trim looks amazing like when I first applied it. I did apply it with foam pad and WOWA, which is probably what led to it streaking after getting rained down. I'm gonna hit it with a QD and MF to try and even out the streaks after this hurricane goes by (for the sake of not looking crazy detailing my car before a big storm :) ).

On the plus side, it did all look very nice after applying, next time I'm gonna try and buff it off with some QD and MF about 15min after applying it next time.

I hit up my plastic trim with 4-5 passes with Meg's UQD and zero luck fixing the streaking. I was pressed for time before work, but it seems I'm going to have to APC + brush the panel again to start fresh.

Me neither. Did you apply it with a machine or by hand. This product loves a DA so it can apply a super thin layer.

it was by hand with a MF applicator (since I was doing the wiper cowl and major engine shrouds). I'll have to take off my wiper cowl to re-do it properly, but I'm going to re-do the bumper covers with the DA and black pad after I APC the old stuff off.
