power supply for PC 7424

Hi guys,

I've been searching for an affordable way to power my new PC 7424 since I do not have a garage and outlet access.

What do I need to do so? Is it called a 750+ transformer? And does it connect to the car battery? And do I need an extension cord?

Lastly, where is the best place to buy these essentials online?

And how loud is the PC?

By the way, I'm located Florida.

Thank you in advance for your valued advice. I've been searching for hours and I'm stumped.

i looked through the inverters on that site, and Personally to be really safe I'd go with the coleman 1200/2400 inverter. Although its way overkill on supply of power, it leaves room for not only a different machine in case you get a rotary that uses more power, but also in case you want to run some lights when it gets dark outside. BTW the specs on it say it only draws .5amps? that seems too efficient but maybe it really doesnt use much current from your car.

What the specs are saying is the inverter itself only uses .5 amps. So if your load is pulling 3.7 amps (as the PC does), you'll be pulling 4.2 amps from the car's supply.

Costco has a pretty nice inverter also. I don't remember the manufacturer or any of the details, but I do remember its a pretty large one at a good price.

How long could you practically run the machine -- without risk of killing your car battery -- with that sort of power draw?

You could run it for a while, enough to do a light polish a normal sized car, but certainly not all day. You don't even want to get close to running your battery down all the way because auto batteries are not designed to be completely run down and doing so will shorten the life of the battery.
