I had the pleasure to work on this stunning machine last Saturday (been a bit busy this week). Every single piece of this vehicle is oozing with the finest materials and incredible engineering. I think part of the reason this "simple" detail took so long (5 hours) was because I was enjoying what I was working on.

The car is a 2007, detailed once by a previous detailer, and had about 3700 miles on it. The car was overall in good shape with a decent amount of soil. The current protection, or lack thereof, was non-existent. Squeaky clean and re-accumulated with bonded contaminants. I had to gently clay the entire car as I wasn't planning on polishing deeply. When all was said and done, the car was as new. My finals were:

Interior

- Folex to clean carpets

- Zaino Z9 to clean leather (no vinyl in this puppy :D)

- Zaino Z10 to protect

- Zaino Z12 Plastic Polish on nav, radio, kick plates

- Zaino Z8 in jams

- Stoner's Invisible Glass on glass x 2

*That's a V1 custom mounted and leather wrapped*

V1 in the mirror (also has a laser jammer, iPod adapter, and Sirius sat radio all aftermarket, all completely hidden)

Exterior

- Zaino Z7 Wash

- Zaino Z18 Clay with Z7 Wash as lube

- Zaino Z-AIO on clear bra, calipers

- Zaino Z-PC on tailpipes, followed by Z8

- Zaino Z5 Pro (ZFX) x 1 on all

- Zaino Z8 final wipedown

As you can see, the weather was lacking. Next time I'm there, I will pull 'er out for some sunny shots. This paint is absolutely unreal under sun. The only silver I've seen come close is off the MB SLR.

Cheers.

Simply stunning Sean. I have detailed a 2007 myself and they are surely a pleasure to work on. Did you know that the floormats costs $750.00 :)

No doubt a great looking car, did you start her up or go for a quick drive? Has quite a snarling exhaust note. I know of a awesome shop in FL doing a custom TT setup on one as the owner wanted more power, TT Vantage =

Nice machine. What's with the rainbow on the headlight in a couple of pics? Also, any info on that V1 in the mirror? I vaguely remember hearing about that before.

Thanks everyone.

Pat: I had no clue, but that wouldn't surprise me :).

Surfer: I moved her into the garage, but when I've been there other times, the owner has driven it around. The exhaust note is to die for.

Diesel: Thought about it, yes. If I did it, it would be the next time I cleaned the car. CS is very good; increases gloss, has decent slickness, and lasts a long time...did I mention it's cake to use?

Setec: I was using my polarizing filter; it's a pretty common thing with headlights and some windshields when there is a lack of sun.

The V1 is hidden as you can see and the controls are near his right knee along with those for his radar jammer. The Sirius antenna peaks out where the windshield meets the dash over his defroster vent. All of it was hidden and looks like it came from Aston. The job was done by a private contractor who does work for all the exotics in Greenwich. I remember a price tag approacing $6k for equipment plus install.

Thanks again!

Amazing job Sean. I love the front picture, where the head light has a rainbow effect. I have been getting that in my pictures since using a polarized filter.

Amazing car and job!!!

Amazing work Sean!!!! I have seen those around here and they are just an amazing looking car with a badazz sound! The whole car is badazz!! It is the sexiest car in person and pics can't describe on what the car really looks like in person. I can only imagine what that one looks like in person after you did it....WOW!

One of the few modern cars I would put in the category of "most beautiful cars ever."

One of the best exhuast notes on a production car too, loud and aggressive without being boomy. Only downside to this car is the lack of power.

Extremely reflective silver, love the side shots! Great job!

PS...Where's the obligatory azz shot? :):)
