Post your GREEN vehicles here!

Driving in today I saw a couple great examples of green, one was a truck and the other a sedan. It got me thinking that green is just about the rarest "normal" color and how few good shots I've seen of it on Autopia.

My wife had a 2001 Civic in green, which we sold just a couple years later for a MINI, but I took very good care of it and would like to share some of the "for-sale" shots I took after the final detailing. It isn't much, but I must contribute to my own thread if I'm going to be starting one! Love to see some more interesting cars and color combinations.

Besides, it's St. Patricks day very soon. So how about it? Show us your best green vehicle shots!

With Autoglyms Extra Gloss protection it has made the car really reflective, even in the snow you can see the car parked next to its reflection.

OK... I'll bite. Here's my daily driver... an '04 Saturn Vue in Rainforest Green. This color really explodes in direct sunlight... looking like an electric emerald laser green something.

Was not my first choice of colors, but it IS unique...

I did my truck in Aug '06 when I was brand new to the PC and detailing.

The truck really needs a rotary taken to her. I just got one the other day and hope to use it soon on her.

Nothing worse than a learner with a dirty vehicle.

I don't do so well on the upkeep side - especially like Bryan does. His cars always look great.

I had a bit of time this afternoon and decieded to clean up on the truck some more. I had already polished out most of the cab and knew that everything below the black side moulding is going to take a buffer due to the heavy scratches.

I was able to get a good majority done today and am pleased with the speed at which I was able to work. I washed the truck, cleaned the wheels and wells, polished the hood, left side and tail gate and applied a sealant and a carnuba wax.

The truck has some deeper scratches in it which those too may end up with a buffer on them. They don't really bother me so, it may not get buffed.

Wash with some cheap-o soap I'm trying to get rid of.

Clay left side of bed and tailgate.

Rewash clayed areas with PB SnW.

Polish with SSR 2 on an Orange Propel pad with the PC @ 6.

(tear up the yellow pad, version 1 in testing - the velcro backing came off)

Apply EX with a blue Propel pad.

Top with Natty's Blue.

Dress tires with Black Magic Tire Wet.

I took 3.5 hours from start to finish.

(Of course I'm not really finished but I have to get ready to go to dinner)

The subject. 1994 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton Extended Cab.

~143,000 miles.

The truck is really a light green but in most of the outside

pictures it shows up blue. ???

One owner - Me.
:D

Pre-wash

Here you can see the tape line that runs through about the middle of the gas cap door. The left side is polished, the right side is not.

This green is more the true color of the truck.

Done -

I lost the sun as it is now overcast.

Here are a few shots.

I did what I could with the pictures.

I feel like there should be more reflection.

Green is a fun color. My Mustang was green and I loved to see that thing shined up. Dark blue is my official favorite color, but I never pass up a chance to give a good shine to a green car.

However, with that being said, I think this is one of the only pictures I have of a green car. lol

Nice cars all around. Slick61, got any more pictures? That green is really unusual, and I mean that in a good way.

Yea, here's a few more... the shots in my gallery were mostly taken in the shade, & my better shots are all on my computer at home...

the color really changes with the lighting...
