I'm a beginning detailer with limited experience and I need some HELP! :doh
The other day I got a call from some a girl that I used to work with. She tells me that someone did some graffiti on her car which is a pre-1990's Black Mercedes 300E, and she says that she got most of the paint off. She didn't explain how she got it off, but she said that the paint she revealed underneath is kind of dull. :nixweiss
Well, she's coming over to my house so that I can take a look at it and to see if I could fix it. To be honest, I don't think I will be able to.
I'm guessing the paint is probrably single stage black paint given the age of the car. I have zero experience working with that kind of paint or any really deep scratch removal. I don't really feel like getting my PC pads or my mf towels all black.
Now I've never been very fond her. It doesn't suprise me that she called just because she needed to use me. :sosad
Should I even try to help her or is this just going to be too much work for something done pro bono?:nono
