Recently somebody asked for the weights of the 5 and 6 PC counterweights, and I can’t find the thread (it may have even been on another msg board).
5 counterweight = 50.8g (1.8 oz)
6 counterweight = 60.5g (2.1 oz)
The screws holding the counterweight take a Torx T-20 head.
The extra washer that comes with the PC is used with the backing plate to give more clearance for the wrench.
Other PC stuff that may come in handy:

geekysteve’s Porter Cable for Beginners post is excellent.
Has anyone lightened the 5 counterweight for smoother operation when using a 3.5 backing plate and 4 pads? If so, please post what you did and how it worked.
