porter cable polisher

Is the porter cable polisher worth getting if my vehical is new and I wax it once or twice a month?Also I have an orbital buffer is that good enough?Or will I see a big difference with the p.c.?
 
You will see a big difference and save a lot of time with the PC granted you use quality pads and waxes/polishes. I would say it is a very good investment.
 
You can use the pad that comes with the PC, but I highly suggest getting you some different pads. Get you a variety of different types for different jobs. The PC pad is a polishing pad. You may want to get a cutting and finishing pad.
 
Just about anything can be used with a PC. Use it on setting 3 and you are fine. I love my PC for applying liquid waxes and sealants. It speeds the process up a lot.
 
well i used the pc with meguire pads,I used megs paint cleaner,nxt,and the turtle wax wipe and shine because it supposably has alittle carnuba in it.All I can say is WOW!Ididn't know i has that miuch meyallic in my paint.Thanks to all at dc for your help and input.:band
