Porsche Carrera 4s Detail

I was contacted by the owner after he saw some of the work I have been doing on a couple of cars near to where he lives. Initially he just wanted the car washed but when explaining what could be done to the paint work, he opted for correction to be carried out. The car in question was meant to be red, but had lost all depth in the paint work, for me this was going to be an exciting detail.
The car before starting any work:

Initially the car was rinsed

The alloys where cleaned with a Wheel Cleaner, tyres with APC as was the arches, door shuts and engine bay.

The car was then snowfoamed (excluding the roof) and crevises/badges aggrigated with a detailing brush.

The car was rinsed, the washed with PH Neutral Shampoo using lambs wool wash mitt and 2 bucket method and rinsed.
To remove the tar spots, a tar and glue remover was used, then the car was rinsed then clayed using a clay bar

The car was washed once again, dried with a dryer and waffle towel, it was time to inspect the paint work :(
I found a lot of deep scratches on the back and lots and lots of swirls

I took some paint depth readings

Taped up the car and started to the correction. I opted for a polish that can cut and refine in one, this worked for most of the car, but some stages had to move to a more aggressive compound.

Some nice 50/50 shots during the correction

Once correction was done, then cleansed the paintwork with Pre wax cleanser left to cure, buffed off then applied wax (Inc door shuts)
The wheels were initially done with pre wax cleanser, removed, then a PTFE wheel wax was applied to the alloys and trye dressing to the tyres.
The windows were cleaned with a window cleaner, the exhaust with a Metal Polish.
The interior was treated to Leather Cleaner and hoovered.
Engine was treated with an engine detailer
The hood was treated to a fabric protectant.

My son just showed up a bit South of you a month or so ago. He's in England (Birmingham) for a couple of years. He's trying to re-learn English right now. ;)

Send him to Scotland, more specifically Glasgow and he will struggle to understand anything we say lol

Great work. That's a really nice mobile rig you have also. I thought at first it was a Sprinter but the roof and lights look a bit differant. What is it?

Its a Renault Trafic Sport, not sure if you get them in the US or only aimed at the European market.
