Porsche 997 Carrera 4 S Coupe

I detailed this car a little over a year ago right after it was purchased and I think it was in worse shape then. The owner does a nice job of staying up on his wash every 7-14 days followed by a quick detail spray and once over on the interior. Swirls and marrs were minimal, but the soft Porsche paint forced me to play with a few combos to polish 'er out.

Interior

- Folex and steam to clean mats and carpets

- Stoner's Invisible Glass for the glass

- Zaino Z9 to clean leather

- Zaino Z10 to protect leather

- Zaino Z8 in jams and on gauges/nav/trim

Exterior

- Zaino Z7 Wash

- Zaino Z18 Clay with Z7 wash as lube

- EFHI cut 2:1 on tires/wheels/wells

- Menzerna PO85RD via rotary and LC Black Finishing Pad @ 1300 rpm

- Zaino Z-PC and #0000 Steel Wool on tailpipes

- Zaino Z6 wipedown

- Zaino Z5 Pro (ZFX'd) on paint, glass, wheels

- Zaino Z16 on tires (x 2)

- Chemical Guys VRT cut 2:1 in wells

- Zaino Z8 final wipedown

Cheers.

Great job!

I hate to sound like a noob but what's "EFHI" (used on the wheels).

Think I'm going to try some #0000 steel wool on my tail pipe this weekend.

Edit: Found it... EFHI = Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner

Blue Zero: Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity - It's a really nice APC. Very effective, never had it tarnish/dull any surface. Just use as per instructions.

Thanks.

jesse: I attach a MF towel to the steamer head and all of the grime sticks to it there. I have a Daimer Pro Steamer.

Kenney: Not *too* bad. When I work indoors (most of the time), I get almost none.
