Hi All,

Well, the time has come! I have 3 people who want me to detail their BLACK cars.

I currently use the Sonus SFX system and my PC with the DAS pads.

In my research, it seems to be a toss up between the Poorboys, Blackfire, and Menzerna for Black.

Can anyone help with their experiences??

I'm open to other suggestions.

Thanks to All,

Steve

I've used Blackfire and FMJ and I love them both. Pricewise, Blackfire is more desirable, but FMJ does seem to give that extra sparkle in the shine department. Nice if you want a wet, reflective look. Blackfire is better if you want a more subtle reflection, something you might like better for a black car.

To be honest, posts like this will get you multiple answers of each product being excellent and essentially confuse you even more than help you. You can't go wrong with any of them and it seems lately that people are getting to hung up on what the "best" product is, where in reality, if you do the prep right, any quality product will give you outstanding results. Your customers will be blown away as long as you prep the vehicle properly regardless of which product you choose.:D

Term,

Thanks!!!

94 Stang,

I actually thought about beginning the post with, " Don't mean to open a can of worms...":p

I'm a little nervous because I won't be happy with anything less than perfection, although I have already told each person that I can't perform miracles. I also told them that once I detail their vehicles, PLEASE keep up with their care.

Thanks!!!!

Steve
