I finally got to use my Poorboys this past weekend and all I can say is that I'm really impressed with their SSR lineup. Unfortunately, I do not have any pics because my digi cam is out of order.
I was able to use SSR1 and SSR2.5 on my friend's black Mistu Evo VIII. He brought the car to me unwashed for the whole winter, although it was hardly driven with only 1800 miles since Oct. Eventhough, it came to my driveway looking like it was actually driven in a rally.
I did the whole detail process for him: wash, clay, quick wash, SSRs, then Klasse twins.
Long story short, both he and I were very happy with the job I did. I took out almost 80% of the swirls on a black car, which I am very proud of. I just have a few questions to ask.
When using SSR2.5, I'm not really sure if i was using enough product. I worked in small panels and did a first pass at speed 3. However, it seemed as if the product had already dried up and I really didn't work it in a lot. I then put the speed up at 5 and then worked it in more, but only until its started dusting like crazy. Is 2.5 supposed to dust that quickly or was I doing something wrong.
Another question, is there anyway I can reduce the dusting?? It made it a real pain to clean up the whole mess afterwards.
Any input would be appriciated. THANKS!
