They are an absolute essential in my arsenal. The applicators are not really useful for wax and sealant application but better for all of the facets of interior detailing and exterior trim detailing. In total I have about a dozen or so, half of which I but in various ways to increase their effectivity. I find that they spread an even coat of product better than any applicator I have tried; to use them just dampen them a little, wring out the water as best you can, and they are ready to go.

I absolutely agree with MS22. I always enjoy applying the last step product by hand and the PVA is great for applying liquid products thinly and evenly. The square edges also allow me to cut around trim very easily and gives me much better control in applying. When applying paste waxes, I find I get better results with using those foam applicators, but when applying liquid sealants/waxes, the PVA is just great. Like MS22 says, soak the PVA until it becomes pliable, then squeeze out as much water as you can, and it's good to go.

I ahve two and guess that I didnt think that they were that great. I mean the shape is nice but I thought that they were hard to hold on to.

I take mine and put it in a zip lock baggie. Squirt dawn in the bag and fill with hot water. Then I put the smaller bag in a bigger to shake and ensure no leaking.

I hated mine, used it once and chucked it.

They do work best with thin final step products. I also agree with Detailgirl that they are a pain in the a$$ to hold on to.



I tried Natty's Wax with one. Last time for that. EX-P seems to work OK but it's hard to know when it's going on super thin OR "rudding off" product because it's so inflexible. Nice straight edge it's biggest plus.
