Poorboys Professional Polish

I just bought Poorboys Professional Polish because I needed a light polish for newer cars. Did i make the right choice I have heard it's a little hard to work. I have a rotary is it ok to use it with that?


I love the Wheel sealant it rocks I have two layers on now and they sparkle
 
Hi Patrick,

PP is great for new cars as well as older ones....a tiny little bit will go a long long way...it works great with a rotary, especially with wool pads....if you use a little bit and fully work it in and out of the finish you will see great results.
If per chance you use too much, continue speading it over more of the car.
Used properly it will virtually disappear and be very easy to remove.:)

WOOL PAD :beat I thought that was very abarasive I was afaid to even transport the rotary in my truck. fearing it might do something locked in my tool box that I could never repair

any ways here is a shamless plug for the wheel sealant

you can use a foam pad, but use a polishing pad and use PP very sparingly....prime the pad with a little product, smearing it in with your fingers, add a very thin line around the pad, tap it on the surface and then go to town.
Again work it thoroughly and spead it further if you use too much:hippi
 
I found pro polish to be a great problem area cleaner when used by hand but I really didn't like it as much as SSR1 for machine use - SSR1 give me a more glossy finish. So being a newbie at this, I gave away my ppp after getting rid of the problems areas on my cars. :wall

Being a little more experienced now, I've learned that new problems always come up and I realized I needed some more. So I just added it back to my aresenal - my first problem area is this darn unreadable yet irreplacable cd containing important test files ... :beat
 
I found PP to be more of a chemical cleaner than a polish. It will get whatever other product you have on the paint surface off and leave it ultra clean.

SSR1 would be my next step to get out any minor swirling, and to give the finish a nice luster

PP is a must have as it is a great all purpose general use cleaner. I use it on our black/stainless stove , dishwasher and in removing old caked up wax on furniture
