I was just curious as to what this product really does/is.

Is it abrasive?

Would I use it on top of an LSP in between waxes, or replace an LSP?

Apply with finishing pad? or a pad with some cut to it?

Thanks a lot for any information. :2thumbs:

not on top of lsp.. its still a polish with carnauba.. its a lil grainy when shaken right.. at least mine is.. i would use it and put a coat of ex or ex-p on top x2.. light - medium cut pad for the graininess... finish with ssr1 or 2 on a finishing pad if hazing occurs..

PwC is listed as Non-Abrasive. It's an All-in-One type product. It removes oxidation while at the same time leaving a coat of protection behind. (It's not just carnauba. It's also a polymer type system.)

The more cut your pad has, the more "aggressive" it would be, so if you used a finishing pad, you'd be basically just applying some wax. If you used a light cut, you'd be able to remove some cob-webbing. I've read that if you use it with a cutting pad, you should then go over it again with a finishing pad to get more protection. I haven't tried this, though.

I have never used PwC but have heard that it is a great one-step product. Though I don't understand why you would finish PwC off with an SSR. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...although I don't think I am.

You do not finish PwC off with a SSR, it will remove the PwC.

PwC can be used ontop of a VM if you apply lightly by hand. It may remove some of the VM but not all. If you were to apply a lot of pressure or apply with a PC it will remove.

PwC has chemical cleaners, no physical abrasives, hence the reason why its labeled non-abrasive.

I would use it either with a polishing pad or finishing pad. I don't think a cutting pad would be a good idea for a cleaner wax.

PwC is compatible with a majority of sealants that i've used (EX, EX-P, CMW, WG), i've also read it works with UPP, but never tried that.

Wow that's pretty interesting. With carnauba, I would think that some sealants (UPP) would have some bonding issues...maybe it's just because I use SG which is very anal with its prepped surface.

I believe Steve said PwC contains a very little amount of carnuaba, but i'm not 100% sure so don't quote me. I know Ranney at PakShak sells VM/UPP as a combo and I know VM and PwC are very similiar so I guess it works. If anything PwC seems less oily than VM to me. Just today I used RMG/UPP and didn't have a problem with the UPP at all. I guess these newer sealants aren't as fussy to the surface below.

I believe Zaino and Klasse need a perfect surface, or else you'll have bonding issues, as you said with SG.
