Poorboys EX vs. EX-P ?s

Hi,



I have an order of EX-P on the way. I understand that it is a sealant and contains NO carnauba vs. EX. I'm just wondering what situations would I use it for? from other posts it seems as if the majority of people use EX-P as a topper?



what situations would I use it in? I also have VMW, S100 pastewax, and AIO.



also if anybody knows, better for light or dark cars? what do you prefer on light cars?

EX for a darker, carnauba look

EX-P for that dipped in salad oil look



A note too, EX-P should last longer. Another note, I found EX-P to be quite the PIA to spread, removal wasnt as easy as say S100 but not too bad. For a sealant its not super finiky so dont let this deter you. Make sure you dampen the applicator, I missed this the first time around with EX-P and it made it near impossible to spread and work with.

so you wouldn't recommend topping EX-P wiht anything than. i.e. S100 or another carnauba.

You can top EX-P, some may say dont as it may effect the clear look. I have VM under it, so my VM/EX-P combo is already darker due to the VM, as EX-P tends to take on the look of whatever is under it. I plan to try a coat of S100 personally as S100 has a clear wet look itself. I wouldnt recomend topping with a wax like #26 that could hurt the clarity of the EX-P.

LOL, yeah, I remember that feeling. The PC was the BEST...BY FAR...investment I have ever made. Not only does my car look 10X better since, it looks so good I actually make some decent side money in the spring/summer doing other peoples cars.



This weekend I get to play with a black 04 SRT-4 owned by a chick. Cant wait to drive that bad boy, I am actually considering a car change and this is a contender so I am excited. :bounce
