Alright Guys, I am new here so I could use all of the help that I can get. I am wanting to switch from Zaino to Poorboy's but I hear alot about ClearKote also. So I am wondering which products to get. My paint doesn't have many scratches because I wash and polish all of the time but it does have a few that I want to get rid of. I want the wettest, most slickest, deepest shine that I can get. So what products will get me that look. Also, I am fine with applying layer after layer, so will that help with the products that you suggest?? And I plan on buying and using a PC 7424.

Also my car is Dark Shadow Grey (w. Metallic)
Any advice would help, so give me your expertise!!

Thanks
Brent

I have a few suggestions for Clearkote Poorboy's combos. They each vary in the amount of gloss, depth, and clarity (a factor in allowing metallic flake to "pop").

Vanilla Moose/Carnauba Moose = wettest shine, very deep, muted flake

Vanilla Moose/EX (x2) = satiny shine, very deep, moderate flake

SSR1/EX (x2) = similar look to VM/EX but with more swirl removal ability

Vanilla Moose/EX-P (x2) = glossy shine, moderate depth, lots of metallic flake

SSR1/EX-P (x2) = similar look to VM/EX but with more swirl removal ability and even more metallic flake

If you have more moderate swirls, then you may need to precede these steps with SSR2.5 (or SSR2) or one of the Clearkote compound/cutting creams.

Clearkote also has a new glaze which may be a better fit for your dark color than Vanilla Moose. It's called Red Machine Glaze. I have some of this on order, but I do not yet have any hands on experience with this product.

I did RMG+New EX+CMW on black, looked outstanding.

Cant go wrong with anything from PB's or Clearcoat.
