Poorboy's APC

Got a chance to try Steve's APC today.

Excellent stuff! :bigups

I first mixed a very small portion at 15:1 to try on tires, wheels and wheel wells. It worked fairly well, but I like a little bit more "punch" for cleaning those areas, so I mixed up another small batch at 7:1... Perfect! You could really see the stuff emulsifying the dirt. Some light scrubbing, and everything looked "Spiffy"! :D

Even though Steve's stuff is a bit more expensive than the stuff I was using, I have to go with about a 5:1 ratio with the other stuff to get the same cleaning action. So, I will gain a little bit usage. Plus, I like the fact that Steve's stuff is bio-degradable.

I will be stocking up with a couple of gallons of this stuff, as I use more APC than any other cleaning product.

P.S. - I do think that Steve should put some recommended dilutions on the label.

One of the reasons we didn't change the label to add dilutions is exactly what you've already found out...everyone has a different dilution ratio that will suit them ...I like 15:1 you may like 7:1 and the next person may like 10:1 ...I even know a few people who use it full strength :wow:
It has so many uses from uses with power washers for cleaning semi fleets , cleaning leather, carpets, windows, engines, tire, wheels, etc.. that the list would be endless ....but it is great that everyone can post their favorite dilutions and what they use it on for others to see. :)

Yea, I guess they can come here and search through a bunch of threads to find that info.... or figure it out on their own.

I use it for everything . when I need to clean my gas grill I grab the PB APC mix 12:1 kitchen counters, floors, and yes Steve I even clean the toilet with it.:wow: It even has a nice smell

whats with you and the color green?

Watch the news and see what is happening...going green huge right now with all mfgers in the US....its a way of producing products that are are non-pollutants to the environment...its something that all mfgers will have to comply with here in the US in a matter of time.....Al Gore is a huge supporter of it...don't care what you think about him but this guy has a cause worth looking at and reading

I used to use it to get off crayon markings from the walls :passout: thankfully the kids use paper now :D

BTW Steve... nice touch with the coconut smell in the B & B. Caught me by surprise. :wow:

Also, nice to see that you are including some decent sprayers with these products. :bigups

I'll have to give this product a try. I have always been thrown off by the name as listed on AG because it says "whitewall cleaner". But it sounds like ya'll are using it as an APC.

I think we switched sprayers about 2 years ago ... these were the best we could find with a reliable source :)

BnB has a coconut scent :hmmm:

Yep, it's been over two years since I've needed anything.

The coconut scent is nice.

Now start thinking about changing the bottles so they are little more ergonomically friendly. :D (Same thing with Detailers Pride quart bottles)

For the most part our quart bottle are for refills of the pints bottles, Spray & Rinse excluded ...which is why I haven't changed them over...APC for example should be diluted into another quart bottle which could be ergonomically friendly :) maybe i need to sell empty quart bottles

Well, once again, it's just a suggestion.

For products like S & W, B & B, APC, and a couple of other items, I like to get gallons and mix/pour them into quart size detailing bottles. Others may prefer 16 oz bottles.

My point is this... why bother sending a good quart size sprayer if the bottle isn't worth using with the sprayer. You would be better off sending an empty pint size bottle with sprayer with each quart.

Again, it's not an issue for me, as I have many of the "necked-down" quart size detailing bottles. However, if your bottles were like that, I would have a lot more good detailing bottles. :D

It can't be blinking! It's been disconnected for over a year! :lmfao

I know ;)

Contacted them this morning..they will update the description :) thanks for the heads-up :bigups
