Poor handing with shipping

I just wanted to see how many people have had poor experiences with package carriers.



I recently have received 3 out of 5 packages from UPS(shippers choice) that had some sorta of leakage or cracks or damages. For those who have placed a claim before for package damage you can imagine how annoying and time consuming it is to chase the UPS people and try to hurry your claim along..



One of my packages was purchased from a forum member, and after i put the claim I waited about a month before getting fed up, called UPS and they admittedly made no attempts to contact me and that I needed to contact the original location. Well, thanks for the information! Who knows how long I would have waited if I didn't follow up another 2 times myself.



Brown isn't doing a thing for me..
 
This seems to vary by location, we've had these discussions before. Around here, UPS bends over backwards to help you, while FedEx is usually like talking to a wall.
 
UPS didn't do anything resembling bending over backwards for my first package damage, I literally had to chase them. It was numerous phone calls and emails...
 
I never had problems with either UPS or FEDEX. Today Fedex delivered a package that was suppose to be delivered Monday 8-31. It was from CG so I had the afternoon to play.Just look at the amount of packages they deliver daily and the problems they have.
