After washing my wife's DD last Saturday and applying XMT 360 followed by DP Poly-Coat, I couldn't wait to wash her car today.
After foaming the car with Gold Class Car Shampoo, I washed the car down with more GC blow drying the car and wiping it down. Initially, during the wash, I was worried that the soap had washed away the sealant already because the soapy water was sticking to the paint, but after rinsing, the water started sheeting away and was beading pretty nicely. I know it's only been one week, but I've used plenty of waxes/sealants where the beading/sheeting is noticeably weaker after the first wash. Poly-Coat showed not such signs. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I'll try and wash the car again next Saturday and check out the beading again.
Beading is not the best I've seen, but it's certainly not the worst. Overall, I would say Poly-Coat is definitely a keeper. Throw in the price point in which it occupies and you definitely have one of the better sealants on the market.
Here's a thought: Somebody should try a Poly-Coat/Wolfgang sealant combo. That should be a real stunner!
