Polishing Up Golf Clubs?

Anyone ever polished up their golf clubs? My fairway woods and driver are looking a little rough and I was wondering if there was a way to do some "correction" on them. :)
 
I have been using Klasse AIO and SG on my woods for years. I used a PC on my brother's driver to correct some "sky" marks (he's a hack) and it helped remove about 75% of the blemishes.
 
I was having a really bad round one day and put a light "pop up" mark on my driver. Some Megs Scratch-X took it right out. :D



Once a year or so I scrub all my clubs after soaking them in hot water and car wash soap. I just want to get all the crud out of the grooves.



I did once polish a set of irons with a bench grinder/polisher and some rouge. However, these clubs had a polished finish. My current irons have a matte finish. So, I wouldn't do the same thing.



You could certainly polish your woods with a PC or by hand with some car polishes. However, my fear would be that there would be a glare off the top of the club head which could be distracting.
 
Thanks guys. I'll try the ScratchX and I may try to find some touch-up paint that matches the finish with my buffer. It's my Titleist fairway woods and it is painful for me to see them in bad shape lol. As for the irons, I usually just use some dishsoap, a brush, and a tooth pick to clean the grooves out and get them to look good.

Several years ago I bought some touch up paint made specifically to match golf clubs. I think the name of the company was "chip shot" or something like that. I think I found them on e-bay.
 
I've also tried polishing and sealing the face of my driver, to make it nice and slick, hoping to cure my slice, it didn't help.

I use Mr. Clean diluted 4:1, then follow up with Meguiars cleaner wax on woods, irons, and wedges. I have a Scotty Cameron Futura putter that simply gets washed, but doesn't get the wax treatment due to the multiple curves and port holes.



I also use car wash water to clean my buffalo vinyl Titleist staff bag.
 
I've used DG 501 on my driver. Works great. Irons just get usual scrub down.



Don't forget to clean those grips too. Simple Dawn and rinsing with water keeps grips nice and tacky.
 
Well, after reading this thread I cleaned my golf clubs. Everything from PW to driver and even the putter got washed with some Dawn. Then I used Poli-Seal by hand on my Scotty Cameron putter and my woods. The Scotty is mostly black. So, it really benefited from a little polsih.
 
I picked up a set of Cobra S9II's last season which have a polished surface. Anyone ever buff out any irons like that? Just wondering what pads/polish would be a good bet. Wouldn't work on the faces, since they're matte. But it would be nice to keep the soles looking good for as long as possible since that's what shows when they're in the bag.
