polishing plastic

is it ok to do this? My father's John Deere lawn tractor has some scratches on the hood from branches and it appears to be just green plastic (not actually painted). Is it ok to do this? What type of pad product can I use?

I tried Meg's Plastx on a Mother's Powerball on a plastic side mirror - worked well.

Any more thoughts on this. I too have a deere with lots of branch marks on the hood. I have all the usual suspects, PC, polishes and stuff.



What is the best way to tackle hard plastic.

I thought I remember someone have good results with Klasse AIO. The color runs all the way through the Deere green plastic. I have seen those plastic hood covers on ebay and they are not too expensive. I have waxed my LT155 but I haven't used any power buffers or polishes.

I have a few scratches I would like to get out. I would be interested in someone's real world experience and results. Maybe we can get a section in the Click & Brag for other.
