Polishing Pads

I have a Simoniz random orbital polisher. It came with a foam pad and three cotton pads. They're elastic fit- like a shower cap. Are there other products that fit this way?



Searches bring up Porter pads of different colour, but from what I understand they're velcro backed.



Does anyone use a Simoniz? What pads work best with this? I've heard of people gluing velcro on the face of their shower cap style polishers so they can use higher quality pads. Does this make sense?

That's what I was wondering. I've seen the PC threads and I knew that they are the way to go. Unfortunately my girlfriend bought me a Simoniz last year for Christmas. Modifying the pads would be easy- explaining why I never use the one she just bought for me is more difficult.
