polishing light lenses

I'm going to try use my new PC this weekend and my wifes car has those new light lenses that are flush with the cars painted surfaces. Should I apply polishing Product (AIO) to the plastic lenses or is this product too harsh?
 
i heard aio works great on plastic lenses.. for what its worth, i applied 1z mp on my moms plastice lenses, and it came out amazing!!! no micro scratches, and 10 times clearer... i doubt aio is as abrasive as mp if not the same, so u should be good to go
