Ive been detailing my show truck a bit at a time each night after work. Cleaning the pads well between each polish to have them fresh for the next night. Last night it was around 32 to 35* outside and close to the same in my garage.
first pad i started with was a megs cutting pad and was getting terrible pad hopping so i switched out to an LC VC yellow and was getting the same thing. after checking the pads i noticed the pads caked up really bad. Thinking they might have been too damp after claning the day before i opened up a new LC orange pad.......same problem. with this problem i was using OCC, i switched to OCP and was still getting pad hop but barely noticable. I finished out the pannel with OCP and called it a night.
Was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience with OCC (next time i think ill just turn the heater in the garage on....LOL)
