polishing compound

MENTALLY ILL

It seem to me that 1ZUPP is more for lite/minor scratchs, I've also heard that DACP is less adbrasive than 1ZUPP. What would you all recommend for poslishing a car that looks like the owner never used water when cleaning the car. Plus to top it off it's black..

Thanks Robert

If you're working by hand/PC the 1Z UPP is about as aggressive as I'd go, though you might look into Hi-Temp's Medium Cut. Anything this aggressive will require following up with a milder product.

I'm using a PC. It took 3 passes on a tail gate with lite/medium scratchs to remove about 90% than followed up with a 1ZPP/1ZPP/1ZMP and Zymol as a Topper.

OK, sounds like you have it pretty well in hand already. Adding the 1Z UPP to the mix might help you remove the deeper marring but you might oughta consider whether you're satsified with how it worked without it. The thee passes (PP x2, MP x1) isn't a very aggressive approach but it sounds like it was pretty effective.
