Polishing Anno Coated Alum Wheels

Hello,



I have a set of Volk rims with Annodized coated Alum lips. The lips are covered with fine scratches and swirls. I have tried a few products with no avail, most recently eagle one nano polish has been used. Do you guys have any suggestions. My next idea was to get some sort of metal polish and use a dremel with cone shaped felt polishing pads to try.

If they are clearcoated over the annodized part use paint polish, not metal polish.



If they are not clearcoated but just annodized I'd be cautious using a metal polish as the annodized coating is fairly thin.



When you rubbed with metal polish did your cloth turn black?

that annodizing cannot be corrected, so you might be SOL.
