Here is my method:

Wetsand with 1200 grit
Wetsand with 2000 grit
Buff using a medium cut cleaner
Polish using PB EX sealant
reapply PB EX with an orbital let sit for 30 minutes
Wipe off and polish by hand using MF towels.

Have you guys had any other methods that I can try?
 
You could try PoorBoy's ProPolish with different pads

I did a thread with tarnished brass candle sticks.

You may also want to get some PB Wheel Sealant instead of the EX. Both will work but the WS may be a tad better.

When I polish aluminum, I like to use a metal polish (Mother's liquid or paste) and a Mother's power ball. The results are very good but not as good as the ones posted in that link. For that fleet you may want to look into that route with the rotary set-up.

If the trucks are new why would you wet sand them? I would think that may be giving yourself more work and possibly results if the grit marks don't polish out.

I woudl wet sand them becase no doubt the tanks are a rough dull finish from the factory. I may not need to , I guess once I see the trucks and start on them I will know for sure. Of course I will ry just to buff them frist. Those power balls do not last long as they are a soft foam..But I may pick a couple of them up anyways to try them in teh tight nook and cranny's by the tanks.
