Polishing a stainless trailer

A gentleman would like me to polish up his stainless trailer. It is "not dirty, just stained," according to my client. Does anyone have experience with this, and what did you find effective?

I do not have any pads specifically designed for polishing metal, but I have every kind of polishing pad out the wazoo. I have flitz metal polish as well as Klasse AIO that I'm considering. Suggestions please!

Good luck, trailers are a lot of work. Price accordingly. If it's stainless, I'd use an all-in-one product on a foam cutting pad - AIO is fine but I'd use Collinite's #850 Liquid Metal Wax - it's made for the job.

If it's aluminum, you just need to ask how good of a result he wants to pay for - I've seen 50' trailers go from dull and chalky to a perfect mirror, but it takes days and costs $$$.
