Polishing a matte finish?

I wonder what would happen if you would polish a car with a matte finish. Like this one:

My best guess would be to wash, clay, & seal. No sense it getting the deepest, wettest look. Just the best and longest lasting protection IMO.

'according to BASF, you just hand wash, dry, and thats it. it does have a clear on it that is said to be virtually scratch free but you know how that goes.\r\n\r\none issue they do seem to be having is that after several washes the paint starts to shine a bit anyway...maybe more of a satin look then???'

Thats what I would think. I would like to see what would happen though, even though it does not need to be done.

one problem is they seem to run into is the more you wash it the glossier it gets...maybe like a satin versus flat
